Introducing DESS-USA Premill Solution

A total millable length of 20mm makes it one of the longest in the market. Two diameters: 10mm and 14mm for Titanium and 14mm for Cobalt-Chrome.

"Pull down and lock" holding system. Developed by DESS back in 2012, allows a strong and precise positioning of the pre-milled blank inside its socket.

The titanium premills are made with the finest grade V titanium manufactured in the USA (extra low intersticial) or also called Grade 23 is used for the titanium pre-mill. The chrome cobalt premill is manufactured using micro melt alloy which has not internal tension so there is less risk for ceramic cracks because it maintains it shape better than other chrome cobalt premills. Also it is easier to mill which will preserve your tools.

Minimal gingival transition height, just 0.3mm to allow for better emergence profile design closer to implant.

DESS Holder System

There are several design advantages of the DESS premill holders and premills -
Quick "screw-on" system where the pre-milled blanks are attached to the sub-holder outside the machine and then placed in the holder
that remains in the machine.

Current Implant Systems

Also, due to the unique way of "pull down and lock" holding system per pre-milled blank, the maximum precision and stability during the milling process is achieved.
Pre-milled socket positions and sub-holders are laser identified to better ensure what is where and optimise the milling process.
